Poon Wai Ching is Senior Lecturer with the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia. She has 14 years of teaching and research experience. Her principal research interest is in Applied Economics, economic growth, oil price issues, exchange rate and stock return volatilities, e-services, education, and corporate governance. She has published 49 international refereed journals. She has authored 4 books and 4 chapters in books. She serves in the Editorial Reviewer Board of Corporate Governance: An International Review (CGIR) [ABDC2013 - Ranked A]. She received CGIR Best Reviewer Prize Award in 2012. She is also the reviewer for more than 20 international refereed journals. She has been invited as guest speaker in private universities in Malaysia. In recognition of her contribution in teaching and research, she has received numerous scholarly awards. She has served as Research grants assessment committee in Monash, and honoured to serve as Research Grant Expert in Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC). She is a member of American Economic Association, Malaysian Economic Association, and Malaysian Social Science Association.
